Archer's Gold Creeping Thyme

Low-growing Archer's Gold Creeping Thyme has a cult following for its unique blend of form and function. Striking in and out of bloom, each Archer’s Gold Thyme plant presents as a chartreuse to gold mat for most of the year, color varying by season. It also makes one of relatively few evergreen groundcover choices for Western Gardens.

Popular with bees and butterflies once it begins blooming in mid-summer, it flowers lightly until hard frost in autumn. Like Creeping Veronica, this plant makes a good lawn alternative or filler between flagstones and along pathways and bed edges, as it is tolerant of light foot traffic. Archer’s Gold Thyme is low-maintenance and high-impact, especially when paired with taller plant forms or those with darker foliage that Archer’s Gold Thyme can contrast. A great plant to brighten part-shade locations under trees and around shrubs where the gold foliage of this Thyme really pops.
