The Story
Yucca baccata v. vespertina (Blue-Leaf Banana Yucca) is a Southwest Utah native with distinctly upright, very blue leaves covered with delicate white filaments. Burgundy to rusty-pink flower buds emerge just below the leaf tips, giving way to pendulous white flowers that attract numerous pollinators. The plant also produces plump, edible fruit in summer.
